Who is it suitable for?

Laser Genesis is a treatment that can be enjoyed by both men and women of all skin types, including tanned skin in all seasons. It can be used as a stand alone monthly treatment or as part of a targeted programme alongside our other Excel V laser.

How does it work?

By heating the skins dermis, collagen production is stimulated resulting in plumper skin, reduction in fine lines, wrinkles and scarring. The laser handpiece is fitted with a built-in temperature gage, which is constantly measuring the temperature of the skin; making it extremely safe and precise. The heat created also works to constrict blood vessels, making it suitable for those with rosacea and dilated capillaries. It’s also beneficial for acne prone skins due to the anti-bacterial heating properties.

What can I expect in my treatment?

Light heat will be felt as the handpiece hovers over the skin. Once optimal temperature for collagen remodelling has been reached, the next area will be treated until the full area is complete. Some people find the warmth very pleasant, like sun on the face.

What’s the recovery time?

There is no down-time due to being non-invasive. You can immediately resume your normal activities, however the skin will be a little red immediately after the treatment and will typically fade within the following day.
